Note Name Bingo |
Students will cut out the Note Name
squares on the top of the paper. The Note Name
Squares will then be glued to the Bingo board on the
bottom of the paper. The teacher will call out
note names and students will identify the note and
cover it on their bingo sheet. Students may be
allowed to make their own Bingo boards each music
class, or the teacher may elect to retain the Bingo
boards for use with other classes. |

Students can practice their sight
reading skills, note reading skills, or listening
skills with this Melody Bingo board. Students
will cut out the Melody Excerpts squares on the top
of the paper. The Melody Excerpts
Squares will then be glued to the Bingo board on the
bottom of the paper. The teacher will may 1)
play the melody and have students identify the
melody 2) sing the melody and have students
identify. Students will identify the note and cover
it on their bingo sheet. After a student has
earned a Bingo, the teacher may ask that student to
sing the covered squares. Students may be allowed to
make their own Bingo boards each music class, or the
teacher may elect to retain the Bingo boards for use

teacher will divide the class into two teams.
Students will roll a die to reveal the value of the
question. 1-1 base, 2 -2 bases, 3 -3 bases, 4-
Homerun, 5-Strike Out, 6- Strike Out. The
teacher will then display a Melody Card. The
teacher may 1) ask students to sing the card 2)ask
students to show the solfege hand motions for the
card 3) play the example with one wrong note; the
student must identify the wrong note 4) ask students
a question about the card...How does the melody
move? Does the melody have any repeating
